Each box is intentionally curated to create a complete and meaningful birthday experience for children experiencing financial hardship. Every detail is designed with care to ensure children experience the joy of being celebrated in a way that feels personal, thoughtful, and memorable.

A key part of each Birthday in a Box is our commitment to literacy. Each child receives age-appropriate books and learning materials that encourage imagination, creativity, and a love of reading. We believe that every child deserves not only to be celebrated, but also to have opportunities to explore, learn, and grow.

To help reduce barriers for families, Birthday in a Box packages are delivered directly to the family’s residence or approved location when possible.
