Andrea Miller, M.Ed.
Founder & Executive Director
Andrea Miller is the founder and visionary behind A&Y Birthday Blessings, a community-driven initiative dedicated to ensuring every child and family feels seen, supported, and celebrated. The organization was born from a clear, purpose-driven vision to use her gifts to serve others in a meaningful and lasting way.

With a professional foundation in behavioral science, criminal justice, and a Master’s degree in Elementary and Secondary School Counseling, Andrea brings years of experience working directly with children and families. Her career has been rooted in advocacy, support, and service, including leadership roles within social services where she provided guidance, oversight, and resource connection to individuals navigating complex life challenges.

Andrea is also a published author of a memoir, a self-care book, and guided journals, using her voice to inspire healing, reflection, and personal growth. Her passion for creating, combined with her background in event planning, naturally evolved into a mission-centered approach to service, one that blends celebration with purpose.

Through A&Y Birthday Blessings, Andrea has created programs that go beyond celebration, offering families dignity, connection, and access to meaningful experiences during times when it may otherwise feel out of reach. Her work is driven by compassion, faith, and a deep commitment to strengthening families and communities.

Above all, Andrea is a devoted wife, mother, and Nana who believes that every child deserves to feel valued, every family deserves support, and every moment of joy has the power to make a lasting impact.

Corine Mars
Community Events Coordinator
Corine serves as the Community Events Coordinator for A&Y Birthday Blessings, where she supports the organization’s outreach, visibility, and engagement within the community. She plays a key role in identifying opportunities for participation in local events, vendor fairs, and resource initiatives that connect families to programs and services.
​
In this role, Corine helps coordinate event logistics and volunteer support, contributing to the planning and execution of community-based activities. She also assists with promoting events and increasing awareness of A&Y Birthday Blessings within the community.
​
Corine is also instrumental in building and nurturing partnerships with local organizations, schools, and family support programs, helping to expand the organization’s reach and strengthen its network of support for children and families.
Aniyah Chatman
Birthday In-A -Box Coordinator
Aniyah serves as the Birthday in a Box Coordinator, overseeing the preparation and coordination of birthday celebration packages for children. In this role, she ensures that each box is thoughtfully assembled and reflects the joy, care, and intention behind every celebration.

These birthday boxes are distributed to children across a variety of settings, including homes, shelters, and community-based organizations, ensuring that children in different living situations have the opportunity to be celebrated on their special day.
​
Her work helps bring moments of happiness directly to children wherever they are, making sure no child is overlooked on their birthday.
